Instructors

Rollin D. Godette II, purchased Quantum Training Centers, Inc. in February 2009. He has been doing Machine and Fixture Design since 1977, and has been using AutoCAD since 1992, Mechanical Desktop since 1997, and Autodesk Inventor from its inception. Rollin has been an instructor at Quantum Training Centers, Inc. since January of 1998. 

In August of 1998 Rollin and his wife Marla formed MLD Designs, L.L.C., a tool design and consulting firm specializing in the application of Mechanical Desktop, Inventor and 3D Solid Modeling toward the design of special machines and fixtures for the Automotive industry. 

In addition to training at Quantum, Rollin is an Adjunct Professor at Macomb County Community College and Oakland County Community College. Rollin is certified to teach AutoCAD Level I and II, Mechanical Desktop Part, Assembly and Surface Modeling, AutoCAD 3D Solid Modeling and Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD Architecture, and Revit. Rollin can be reached by email at rollin.godette@quantumtraining.com  

Mike Churchill, the founder of Quantum  Training Centers, and its former owner, has worked with AutoCAD as an operator, programmer and consultant since 1985 (v 2.17k) and as an instructor since 1988. In addition to the standard AutoCAD topics, Mike's other areas of specialization include Autodesk VIZ, AutoLISP programming and customization. Janice Grant-Baum, an instructor, has been working with CAD systems for 17 years and using AutoCAD since 1992.  A 1989 graduate of Lawrence Technological University, Janice recently took the Architects Registration Exam and has worked with all disciplines including architects, engineers, and manufactures developing industrial, commercial, and residential projects. She has received her Certificate of Achievement for both the Level I and II Autodesk AutoCAD exams. Janice's computer and teaching experiences include AutoCAD, DataCAD, and Microstation. Rick D. Johnson, an instructor, provides 16 years of education and experience in architecture, engineering, planning, and building construction. He was originally certified by Autodesk to teach AutoCAD but now has expertise in many of the premier CAD platforms offered by Autodesk. Rick specializes in “Building Information Modeling” (BIM) and “Sustainable Design” (Green Building Architecture, Design, & Construction). As the corporate BIM Administrator in the architecture and engineering division for a highly respected architecture firm in Southfield, MI; Rick works with Revit Architecture, Structure, MEP, Navisworks, Autodesk Design Review, AutoCAD Architecture, 3DS Max, and AutoCAD to develop and coordinate all of the design projects requiring building information modeling. Rick is a member of the American Institute of Architects, a State of Michigan licensed Residential Builder, a United States Green Building Council LEED Accredited Professional (leadership in energy and environmental design), and soon to be a Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) with the Project Management Institute. Office Staff

Randall Tamm, Quantum's Intern, has worked with AutoCAD applications for two years. A recent graduate of Oakland Community College, Randall is gaining experience in Media and Entertainment applications as well as looking forward to becoming an Autodesk Certified Instructor in the near future. Keith Strickland, Quantum's Office Assistant, took an interest in the restructuring of the company under the leadership of Rollin Godette, II and has proven to be a dedicated employee. Keith maintains all aspects of the office building while looking forward to becoming an expert in the animation and gaming industry by learning and utilizing Autodesk applications. Marla Godette, Quantum's Executive Administrator, has over 15 years in administration and management. She has a Bachelor's in Human Services and a Master's (8/2009) in Counseling. Marla has a vested interest in Quantum as this is her husband's (Rollin) dream! She is constantly utilizing her sales and marketing skills to put Quantum back on top of the training world.
